Linnea Hoglund - Season to CookMy name is Linnea and I am a chef living and working in Dublin.
I grew up in Sweden in a home where I was allowed to experiment and help out in the kitchen from a very young age. My interest for food and pastry was born and from there and all I wanted to do was to go to Catering college. So I did. After 3 years of practicing, failing, succeeding and learning I graduated. Since then I have worked in the kitchen in several restaurants, hotels, bakeries and cafes.
In 2006 I moved to Ireland. This green island that I now call home has been more than kind to me and I would not change it for anything.
In the last few years I have focused more on pastry. I'm always trying to learn more both at work and at home. I also take courses and always keep my eyes open for new ideas and techniques.
I take a big interest in health and nutrition and will always try and balance the delicious food I love so much with excercise and healthy meals.
Season to cook is my blog of seasonal cooking, baking, health and nutrition. I have a keen interest in food photography and food styling which is great because it means I get to take all the pictures myself.
